Staff knowledge going downhill. They used to hire retired trades people. Now you can rarely find a person to ask a question and when you do, half of them don't know much about basic construction, plumbing, carpentry... nor can they point you to someone who does. Store inventory seems reasonably in sync with online. Pacing an order ahead and picking up is a good setup and worked every time.
Very nice place, you find anything you need for your home. I like to go there.
We did not have any friendly faces in the paint department & they were annoyed when we asked where something was. Paint department was absolutely not interested, either guy in troubleshooting or showing us where anything was...1st time at the Sunset HD. We got lucky in cleaning supplies and a very wonderful warm gal that just got out of a corporate meeting helped us. Olus, Sarah at check out was awesome.
Went to return some items from a job and the cashiers were very friendly and helpful!
I had my roof replaced by Home Depot, I do not recommend them for any repairs and will not use them for any repairs in the future, still have problems that have not been resolved and will have to hire a qualified roofer to fix the problem..... ALSO Home Depot only warranty their items for 90 days then you are on your own to contact the manufacturer and try to get your item fixed hope you have a lot of free time to do this on your own.
